Asian grocery stores and supermarkets stock ingredients, snacks and household goods that general American supermarkets often do not carry, organized by category rather than by country of origin in most stores. Produce and live or fresh seafood sections are usually at the back or side of the store, and weekend mornings bring the largest crowds and freshest restock. Many larger Asian supermarkets include a hot deli or food court counter selling prepared meals by the pound or as fixed plates, useful for a quick lunch while shopping. Labels are frequently bilingual or untranslated, so store staff can usually help locate a specific ingredient if you ask. Cash, cards and mobile pay are all commonly accepted at larger chains; smaller specialty shops may be cash-preferred.

Hours are published for 7 days a week. Typical hours are 8 am–8 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. There is a younger, very kind woman who helps bag groceries and greet customers up front. She is my favorite person at this store! My interaction with her and the cashier on Monday about the "lobster butter" coffee I was buying was the most genuine interaction I've had with others in the community in a while. She said hello, made eye contact, smiled, and even complimented my tattoos. She got the cashier involved in the conversation talking about the coffee i was buying, which was lovely too. It was such a small thing, but it reminded me of being a kid and going to the store with my mom. I haven't stopped thinking about it all week because it has been a long time since I've felt that way leaving a grocery store. It gives me hope for the future of our community, our young people are amazing! The coffee is amazing, too, and I recommend all the varieties from RoosRoast. They rock!

After having a bad experience with a Fish purchase, I received a call from David Sautter. It seems that I didn't fully know all of the details of the fish market. He offered to refund the purchase price. I did have a complaint with the condition of the fish. After speaking with David, I told him that I would be willing to give the store another chance. I can't ask for more than that.

I just had the chance to walk through this store. This store is an impressive gourmet store with homemade entrees to suit many different foodies. This store has been here since I moved to the area in 1992. Juan Nanez, the French trained pastry chef from Venezuela, made my birthday fruit pastries when I was 10! Wow, his legacy continues, and he still is making phenomenal creations such as eclairs, blueberry cream pastry pies, etc. He also made our Buche De Noel (Yule log) cake when I was in French club with the sisters of Notre Dame at Ladyfield. You can purchase bottled milk, with the cream on top. You will be impressed with what you discover. This is a great place to stop by after a long day at work. If you ask politely, they can heat up your entree at the deli. Just like the 1950s stores our parents loved with new editions. They even have the beautiful Hathaway house cheese spread, which used to be a restaurant. Thank you to the great Ohioans who work here for making my day.

Support local businesses and not the corporate giants that rule this space. They have really neat local items and are very friendly. Their butcher is so far beyond Kroger or Meijer.

Kind caring staff made 5 large trays of delicious festive food, assisted at the cash register and wheeled them out to our vehicle. Impressive service for our family memorial: shall always be grateful, Sautter's deli staff!
